Mad As A Hatter
The initial concept was based on the original illustrations of the book Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland by John Tenniel. The concept for the set design was to create a world in which the illustrations are surrounding the characters and reflecting the madness of the situation. The set begins as very plain and black and white with a palpable emptiness. As the characters welcome their madness the set also changes and becomes more vibrant and colorful wonderland.
